I will be available at a few locations speaking about the ECA.
Second Life Science Fiction Faire 2 (http://www.iftcommand.com/) - Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9 p.m. ET. I will be presenting my discussion, "ECA: Protecting your video gaming rights!". It is approximately a hour long slideshow and discussion.
Ohayocon 2012 (http://http://www.ohayocon.org/) - The weekend of January 27 - 29, 2012. You can find me working the late shift (12 to 8 a.m.) at the Special Needs/Accessibility Services area. You can pick up some information and ask me questions.
Due to a lack of interest, we are leaving 3rd Rock Grid at the end of November 2011. We have already left OS Grid, UFS Grid and Sim-World. We should remain on InWorldz and Second Life until at least the end of January 2012.

Discussion
Our new panel named "ECA: Protecting your video gaming rights!" is going to get a preview on three grids three days in a row. This hour plus long presentation requires attendees to be able to use and hear voice as well as be able to see streaming media via a web browser. Protect your rights as a gamer by learning the truth about gaming in the United States and Canada.
Presentation schedule:
- Thursday, April 14, 2011 @ 6 p.m. PT - Second Life (http://www.secondlife.com/) - Overtambo 32, 32, 28
You can find us at these conventions normally near the vendor's room and perhaps even in a panel or two giving away swag or raffling off prizes. Conventions with the astrix indicate where we will be running a panel called, "ECA: Protecting your video gaming rights!"
Panel Schedule:
ShinbokuCon - 5 p.m. ET on Friday, April 29, 2011.
We are expanding to multiple grids. On Second Life we have a group called the "Entertainment Consumers Association" that is free to join. On the other grids you may join the "Haslage.Net" group and be added the ECA role if you are a member. On each grid we will have an embassy with information about the group to recruit membership. Links to each grid is posted to the left.
We seek members. Members may only be U.S. citizens, 18 years and older. It costs $20.00 USD to join. Visit the ECA web site for details!
What you see here is the first round of web page manipulation. This web page is meant to be simple and easy to use. As you see, all relevant ECA links and images are present so users may find whatever information they need. Chapter related content will be found on the left sidebar and in the main content box above the ECA Twitter and publishing feeds.
As the first virtual chapter of the ECA, much of what is being done is pioneering. Most activities will occur in virtual worlds called grids with minor bits, such as staff listings, news and meeting information on the grids, being posted to this web page. Facebook, Twitter and etc... They do not have the capabilities we have here, as you can see.
Well, let the experiment begin as we play it by ear. If you want to join the ECA, use the link at the top of the page. It is $20 USD a year and only U.S.A. citizens may join. Please request to join the Virtual Chapter when applying. Once on a grid, you can contact our staff via the links on the left sidebar and let us know who you are virtually so you may be invited to the group.
