South Lorain Card Players Association
Sponsored by Haslage.Net and Fair Play Event Organizers.
We are an official league of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh as well as members
of the Bandai Anime Addict and FUNimation Operation Anime programs.
We currently do not offer any league activities. On occassion we may host or
attend other events, those will be listed below. If you are interested in
starting a Pokemon league within the cities of Elyria, Lorain or Sheffield,
Ohio, please contact SLCPA via the "Contact Us" link to the left. Remember,
you must have a valid driver's license and a car so you can reach the league
locations.
Special Event:
In cooperations with Fair Play Event Organizers (FPEO), SLCPA will be offering Pokemon Diamond & Pearl DS events
at select FPEO non-league events. To find out where these events will be held, check the list of side events
listed under the main event on the FPEO web site linked at the top of this page.
At a cost of $5, players will be able to participate using thier Nintendo DS systems and either a copy of Pokemon
Diamond or Pearl against other players in a swiss-style tournament. The highest ranked per age group will receive
prizes. Runners-up may also receive prizes depending on the number of participants. For rules and other information,
please read the Pokemon Video Game Tournament Rules document at the bottom of the page.
At the cost of a DS Pokemon or card trade, players who are interested in obtaining a legally raised Pokemon for Pokemon
Diamond & Pearl DS can sign up for the Pokemon Breeding Services. Up to three Pokemon can be bred per trade and all
trades are final. All trades do require that the same number of Pokemon to be traded to the breeder in the game, this
may or may not include the cost of breeding.
